WHO AM I?
My name is Rebecca Funke, and I am a first year computer science PhD student at the University of Southern California! My research focuses on advancing AI via real-world applications. I have also spent much of my time involved in computer science education. Outside of computer science I am an active traveler, explorer, and foodie! I am ready for any adventure life throws my way! WHAT I DO?
Currently I am a member of Milind Tambe's TeamCore Lab group at USC. Our lab focuses on fundemental research problems in game theory, machine learning, planning, and multiagent interactions. My work is focused around maximum influence problems with applications in reducing the drug-use in the homeless youth population, and also helping veterans with PTSD.
Why I Do It?
Throughout my life, I have found great pleasure in helping those in need. Milind's lab at USC helps me bring together my two main goals in life: (1) expand the field of computer science and (2) assist others whenever possible.
